You don’t have to throw away torn clothing or clothes with stains on them. In fact, you can even make something very creative and original out of them In this article, you’ll find the best tricks to pimp up your fabrics and make them look like new again.
For example, what should you do with a T-shirt that seems to be totally spoiled by deep, dark coffee stains? There is no way you will get these stains out in the washing machine. Even so, don’t be sad. If you think a bit outside-the-box, you can make a very creative T-shirt out of the stains. By lining them with a black, permanent marker, it looks like you have some kind of topographic map with different islands on your shirt!
Pencil earrings

A fresh and fashion-conscious life is about looking at it from a distance. That’s why – in addition to original and creative clothing – the rest of the appearance is also important. For ladies who don’t like to wear the same as the ‘masses’, there are a lot of ideas you can apply to look different from others.
This is one of many examples: use different colored pencils to make earrings! By sawing off a small piece of the back of several pencils, and then gluing them together, you can make your own colourful earrings, as the picture above clearly shows.
Make an original denim jacket

If you find your denim jacket one dimensional and boring, I’m sure you can come up with something. After all, denim jackets often all look alike. They are a blue (jeans) color, have chest pockets and often the same buttons. However, if you want to stand out and just be a little bit different, this is easy to solve.
For example, you can easily brighten up the seams with a certain color of textile paint. It’s an easy ‘trick’, but gives the jacket a totally different look, as you can see in the picture above. This way, you can still be original in a cheap and simple way!
Transform two garments into one

Suppose your old sweater is worn out at the bottom by wearing it a lot. However, it remains your favourite garment and you don’t want to throw it away. No problem, you can ‘just’ cut it off and then attach it to a totally different garment, the way we can see above.
So if you still have an (old) blouse lying around somewhere that you don’t want to throw away, you can combine the two and make one garment out of it. It will take some people a while to get used to seeing this together, but you are certainly original and the only one wearing it.
Cut a pair of jeans into a waistbag

Old, worn jeans can certainly still be used for something. Even though you probably won’t wear them anymore, you can make them fun. Take a look at the picture above.
The upper part of the jeans has been cut crooked, one of the back pockets has been glued somewhere else and the cut side of the denim has been decorated with beads and frills to make it a bit more playful and beautiful. Then tie it tightly over your clothes and you’ve made your own hip bag!
