Stains in the upholstery

Stains in the upholstery are often difficult to get out. They are often in sight when you have visitors. Use shaving foam to get the stains out. Spread some shaving foam on the stain, let it soak in for half an hour and let it dry. Make sure you don’t rub too hard, because then you can damage the fabric.

Disinfect sponges in the microwave

Moisten a sponge and put it in the microwave for about 90 seconds. Make sure that the sponge has no metal elements, as you will need to buy a new microwave immediately, otherwise.

Clean your microwave with vinegar

Your microwave can sometimes look disgusting because of the food left in it. You can easily fix this by putting a small bowl of vinegar in the microwave. Turn on your microwave for a few minutes and the burned remnants will quickly come loose.

Do the same with your coffee maker

You can do this simply by filling the reservoir with vinegar, mixed with water. Then do this again with only water to make sure that the vinegar taste does not get stuck.

Clean the blender with bicarbonate of baking soda

Use some bicarbonate of baking soda, warm water and a spoonful of soap and allow the blender to circulate for about 15 seconds. Then clean the blender thoroughly to get all of the bacteria out. You can also choose to put the blender in the dishwasher.

Do not overfill the dishwasher

Everyone always wants to put as much as possible in the dishwasher. However, research shows that it is best not to do this. The fuller the dishwasher, the more difficult it is to clean everything. That is why it is better to turn on the machine a little earlier, with less dishes.

Buy a mop that can be put in the washing machine.

A mop that can be washed in the washing machine is very handy. If you store a mop in a damp place, bacteria can grow in it that you can’t get out easily. So buy a mop that can be put in the washing machine and dryer!
